The earner is able to clearly identify sources of uncertainty, discern the degree of influence on contributing factors, deploy leadership communication plans, and develop short- and long-term strategies to maintain productivity and performance throughout the organization.

Earning Criteria

Graduate from the Air Force Senior Noncommissioned Officer Academy (SNCOA) or equivalent.
Complete the 40 hour US Air Force CPI Greenbelt Training.
Complete two SkillPort courses under the Strategic Planning Badge sub-category: 1) Leading with Strategic Thinking, 2) Six Sigma Strategic Planning and Deployment (NOTE: SkillPort is CAC enabled)
Complete a professional journal that identified sources of uncertainty, discerned the degree of influence on contributing factors, deployed leadership communication plans, and developed short- and long-term strategies to maintain productivity and performance throughout the organization. Please see Professional Journal Template for guidance.
Compile a portfolio that includes course completion certificates and a professional journal.
The portfolio was reviewed by the First Sergeants' Council according to the Strategic Planning Rubric and recommended for the award of the Strategic Planning Badge.
